Israel Wars with McDonald’s

McDonald’s opened its first Israeli branch in October 1993. The location they chose seems trivial, but it was wise: the Ayalon Mall. Shopping malls made a late entrance in Israel. Only after the second one became a success,1 they became the favored location for shops, mainly due to their air-conditioners.
In 1993, the Ayalon Mall was still the most exclusive mall in the country, thus McDonald’s gained a top niche in the junk-food business.
Americans entering McDonald’s Israel would experience three surprises. The first is trivial. Outside the USA McDonalds attempts to behave properly. The establishments are ultra-clean. While visiting the USA, I was curious to see a local branch; so shocked that I never entered again.
The second is the super hamburgers served in Israeli branches; apparently the largest in the world. This is the result of the corporation’s need to compete against Burger Ranch, a local chain. Hence, McDonald’s in Israel is expensive, much more than in the USA.
The third surprise is that McDonald’s is kosher, despite the chain refusing to renounce its cheeseburgers. This was achieved by not advertising the problematic item in the menu. Instead, while ordering, the client is asked: “Do you want it with cheese?”
Even God has problems understanding rabbinical logic.
Yet, it was a winning recipe. With over 170 branches, McDonald’s is the largest restaurants chain in the country. It has entered history with a failed attempt to create an imperial variant of a popular Middle-Eastern food: theMcFalafel.
Rabbi Clark Kent, the American Super-Settler, ruins the meal!
"He who boycotts denizens of Judea, Samaria and the Golan would be boycotted by me also in Hertzeliya Pituach" Hertzeliya Pituach is a high-tech, exclusive residential area north of Tel Aviv.
“He who boycotts denizens of Judea, Samaria and the Golan would be boycotted by me also in Hertzeliya Pituach.” Hertzeliya Pituach is a high-tech, exclusive residential area north of Tel Aviv.
McDonald’s Israel functions as a private company owned by Omri Padan. He was also among the founders of Peace Now, which probably was one of the reasons why McDonald’s chose him for its Zionist business. Years later, this trivial fact led to a declaration of war of the State of Israel against McDonald’s.
Giant burgers, McFalafel, premium coffee, donations to IDF foundations and children hospitals; McDonald’s Israel did everything to be accepted by Israelis. Almost everything.
In June 2013, businessman Rami Levy announced that together with Mega-Or he would open a shopping mall in Ariel. Omri Padan refused to open a McDonald’s branch there and started WWIII.
Unlike most Israeli cities and councils, Ariel’s territory isn’t continuous but includes three different areas separated by grounds owned by Palestinians. Overall, the town’s territory is about five kilometers long and 700 meters wide. The town is surrounded by a fence, meaning Palestinians do not have access to their territories within the municipality. This was done on purpose so that Israel confiscated less territory than it occupied later. In 1989, it was awarded the status of city. In January 2010, Netanyahu declared it Capital of Samaria (a title technically empty of meaning). On December of the same year, thirty-five MKs petitioned the Israeli government to annex Ariel. In 2013, the town has about twenty thousand denizens.
Ariel is the most strategic settlement that Israel has founded. It aims to dissect the West Bank while creating a second corridor (together with Highway 60) between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The close-up map above shows the reality as seen by travelers to the town arriving from Tel Aviv along Route #5. In a parcel to parcel job, the early Likud governments ethnically cleansed the road to Ariel. One can travel from Tel Aviv to Ariel without seeing any Palestinian towns.
Considering that Ariel is an illegal settlement,2 McDonald’s position can be understood.
Ariel -- note the West Bank Wall.
Ariel — note the West Bank Wall.
War!
McDonald’s position can be understood by every person except most Israelis. Following McDonald’s refusal to open a branch in the West Bank, Israel declared war on its favorite junk food chain.
One of the first condemnations came from Gershon Mesika, head of the Samaria Regional Council: “I am sorry that organizations which do not know Judea and Samaria chose to boycott 700,000 denizens who are 10% of Israel’s population.” He continued with a personal attack on Mr. Padan. “Judea and Samaria” is the Israeli code name for the West Bank. Apparently the current number of settlers is closer to 500,000. Finally, if he counts settlers as Israelis, then he must count also their Palestinian neighbors. His math is wrong and racist.
Knesset Member Eli Yishai, from ultra-orthodox Shas party, declared that he will order the first hamburger produced by Burger Ranch Ariel and deliver it to the office of Mr. Padan.
In the first military operation of this war, settlers attacked dozens of McDonald’s branches across the countries, sticking on them mock kosher certificates stating “kosher but stinky.”
Hertzeliya Pituach is a rich area north of Tel Aviv. It hosts hi-tech companies and an exclusive neighborhood. As seen in the picture above, they have declared a boycott on the McDonald’s branch in their neighborhood.
Hebrew social networks are flooded with calls to boycott McDonald’s. Many of them claimed it was an anti-Semitic decision reminiscent of times when Jews were banned from shops due to their religion. Again, like with the kosher issues related with cheeseburgers,3 this claim is irrational and detached from reality.
“McDonald’s are the real losers,” said Eliyahu Shviro, Ariel’s mayor.
Knesset Member Miriam Regev—who was the IDF Spokesperson before joining the Likud party—said: “McDonald’s owner is a loser and a Lefty.”
Dan Margalit, a leading journalist, announced that he will boycott the chain.
Knesset Member Shula Mu’alem-Rafaeli, from The Jewish Home, instructed Bnei Akiva, the largest Religious-Zionist Youth Movement to boycott McDonald’s.
Hana Golan, candidate to be Ariel’s mayor, quoted Meir Ariel’s song from 1990: “We Survived Pharaoh, We Will Survive Also This.”
Prime Minister Netanyahu is said to be preparing a proper Zionist answer to the event.
Less than a week after the War was declared, Israel has deployed all its Weapons of Burger Destruction. McDonald’s, beware!
  1. The monstrous Dizengoff Center was built from 1972 at the center of Tel Aviv destroying an historical part of the White City. Thus, shopping malls got a bad image in Israel until the second mall was opened in neighbor city Ramat Gan. Kenyon Ayalon (roughly “Shopping-Parking Ayalon”), known in English as Ayalon Mall, was inaugurated in 1985 next to Israel’s largest stadium. Its unobtrusive low structure (later on ruined), with properly spaced shops, air conditioned and soft illumination transformed it into an immediate hit. []
  2. The United Nations Security Council, the International Court of Justice, and most countries (Israel being the obvious exception) agree that the Fourth Geneva Convention applies to the West Bank. This Convention prevents an occupying power from transferring its own population into occupied territory. Thus, settlements and outposts are both illegal under international law; under Israeli law, settlements are legal and outposts are illegal. Yet, the Israeli government supports both, violating its own laws. []
  3. Three times in the Pentateuch it is said “Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk” (Exodus 23:19, Exodus 34:26, Deuteronomy 14:21). Oddly, rabbinical Judaism interprets this as a complete ban on mixing milk products with meat. Thus the halavi (milky) and basari (meaty) designations of kosher food. Food that is neither one, is designated parve. The terms are used also to judge issues; somethinghalavi is weak; something parve is irrelevant. []

Tips Cara Ajar Anak Kecil Solat

Tips Untuk Mengajar Anak Solat

Dan pastikan bila korang sedang solat tetiba anak korang buat gaya disebelah , sila tahan gelak sebab gua memang tak tahan gelak kalau anak tiru gaya sembahyang...('',)

" aimy..macam mana mama sembahyang.."
"aimy...macam mana mama sujud"
"
Jika dia buat gaya solat dengan cara dia.., tahniah...!!!!

3. Sediakan Kemudahan Untuk Anak Bersolat

- Bila anak kita pakai telekung/songkok puji dia

cara mudah ajar anak solat

4. Rajin Bawa Anak Ke Surau/Masjid

tips ajar anak sembahyang

5. Doa

Sekian..Peace (~_^)v

How Long Should My Marathon Training Plan Be?

Written By: Jenny Hadfield

Q I’m training for my second marathon and shopping for training plans, and I wondered about the best length of time for marathon training. I want to improve my time, and I’ve seen plans that last anywhere from 14-30 weeks. What are your thoughts? – CATIE

A There are a lot of plans out there, so it can be overwhelming when you hit “marathon training plans” on Google. It is helpful to stick with resources that have a foundation of knowledge and support their training philosophy. The first question should always be “who developed the plan?” and the second, “what are their qualifications?”
When I first started developing plans in the early ’90s, times were different. People trained to run one or two marathons a year, and their focus was primarily on performance. When they started a training plan, it almost always began with a long run of 10-16 kilometres because they had a solid foundation of mileage and rarely ran a marathon as their first event. Back then, marathon training plans were around 16 weeks in duration. It was enough time to build on the mileage foundation, peak, and then taper down to race day.
Life is different in today’s marathoning world. For one, the marathon (and half) is the carrot for new runners, some of whom have never run a race before. And two, runners are participating in marathons more frequently throughout the year – sometimes every month! Both of which affect the optimal duration for a marathon training program.
But let’s get back to you because at the end of the day, the best way to find the optimal marathon training plan is to learn to find one that best suits your fitness, experience and goals.
You’ve run two marathons, and you want to improve. You could go with a shorter duration plan of 16 weeks, but it doesn’t leave you much wiggle room. For instance, when I coach runners online, it is rare to have a season go by where they don’t get sick, have a family holiday, or just struggle through a week that gets mucked up from life.
For that reason, I develop most of my performance-based marathon plans on a 20-week cycle to allow for the flexibility to move long runs around or recover from illness, holidays and more. My plans also allow time to alternate a longer run one weekend with a shorter long run at race effort the next (a great strategy for seasoned marathoners). Plus, having a longer runway removes much of the stress related to getting in quality training to perform your best come race day.
It also depends on the marathon plan’s philosophy as to how long the season should go. My plans build to one or more long runs of 32-35 kilometres in duration, depending on the experience and adaptability of the person. If you’re following a plan that goes beyond the magic 32km’er, say, 42-45 kilometres, it will take longer to get there, and you’ll be running quite a few more 32+-kilometre runs. Be cautious with this method, as in my experience, a longer season can bring on fatigue, burnout and injuries.
Ultimately, the optimal time to prepare for a marathon depends greatly on your mileage, experience, age, adaptation response and life schedule. New and 40+-year-olds tend to need more time to recover from the demands of marathon training, hence needing more time to build to the longest run.
I’m asked all the time about how to train up for a marathon from the couch, and my answer never changes – start from where you are (zero), build up gradually, and give yourself at least 10-12 months. That’s not always the answer people want to hear – and there are certainly plans that will get you there much faster – but the risks definitely outweigh the fastpass to the start line, and many runners end up on the sidelines unable to run the race.
A marathon is still a marathon, and it’s a challenge that, when you let it, will teach you a lot about yourself along the way.
On the other hand, if you’re running multiple marathons throughout the year, say, five or six in one year, the duration of time for your training plan will need to adjust away from the normal 16-20 week paradigm. When you’re running a marathon every other month or more, you hold a higher base of mileage, especially for the longer runs, so you don’t need to train from lower kilometres to build endurance. Instead you use the marathons as long runs, plug in shorter runs for a few weeks post-race to recover, and then fill in the gap with a mid-distance long run of 22-26 kilometres to bridge the gap between marathons. It’s more about finessing recovery than it is about training.
So there you have it. The short answer for the question of optimal marathon training time: 20 weeks. The long answer is, your training needs to first match your experience, fitness, health, and your target goal. If you’re looking for performance improvements, go the more traditional route and give yourself a little breathing room. If you’re a marathon maniac and want to run a series of marathons in a year, your year will be broken into smaller micro-training seasons and hopefully include plenty of smart recovery along the way.

Kisah benar Puan Lola & Adik OKU : Muhammad Firdaus Dullah

WALAU APA PON ALASAN DIBERIKAN ATAS KECUAIAN & KECULASAN IBU FIRDAUS, IA TAK BOLEH DI TERIMA SAMA SEKALI. BAJU ANAK RM5 X MAMPU BELI, TUDUNG MELAWA BAGAI

~~~~~~~
Bismillah.
Alhamdulillah, petang tadi saya dan isteri, Siti Salwa diberi keizinan Allah untuk melawat adik Muhammad Firdaus Dullah di Hospital Tuaku Jaafar, Seremban..
Pertamanya, saya mohon maaf jika post ini panjang, harap anda dapat bersabar dan baca kerana intipatinya adalah penting dan harap dapat di"share" kepada sesiapapun yang anda jumpa diluar mahupun Facebook friends list anda..
Adik OKU ini terkenal akibat berita yang tersebar luas konnonnya dia "dikurung" oleh ibunya dirumah sehingga kurus kering. Dan akibat fitnah yang berleluasa tentang betapa "zalim"nya si ibu itu,
saya rasa bertanggungjawab untuk menceritakan hal sebenar kepada kalian semua agar kalian dapat membetulkan semula persepsi anda dan tidak termakan fitnah yang telah anda baca baik daripada akhbar, TV mahupun post di Facebook....
Dan sepertimana post saya yang terdahulu, para keyboard warrior dan generasi "mohon share" bertungkus lumus untuk memaki dan menghina ibunya atas "perbuatan" tidak berhati perut oleh ibu adik Firdaus, Puan Lola.
Facebook ibu adik Firdaus dijejaki dan digelar iblis, syaitan, kejam dan sebagainya..sedarlah wahai rakan sekalian, ini tidak lain hanyalah fitnah yang amat tidak bertanggungjawab para pemberita, generasi "mohon share" dan keyboard warrior terhadap ibunya...
~~~~~
~~~~~
Untuk menguatkan lagi pendapat kami terhadap Puan Lola, kebetulan datang dalam wad tadi bersama saya adalah seorang lelaki yang merupakan ahli NGO kawasan perumahan Puan Lola sekeluarga. Beliau
pernah bekerja denga Puan Lola selama 6 tahun di KLIA dan beliau turut mengatakan bahawa apa yang masyarakat perkatakan terhadap Puan Lola adalah salah sama sekali. Beliau seorang yang lemah lembut, rajin dan selalu kerja "overtime" untuk mencari duit lebih bagi menampung keluarga.
Situasi kini adalah Kak Nor menjaga Firdaus dan adiknya di Wad kanak-kanak tersebut jika berkesempatan dan beliau tanpa meminta sesen pun berulang alik dari Gemencheh ke Seremban untuk menjaga adik
Firdaus. Sepanjang saya di Wad tadi, adik Firdaus kerap kali memanggil "Mak..." "Makk..." sambil memeluk Kak Nor yang masih lagi diingatinya. Kembalikanlah Puan Lola kepada Firdaus yang mana beliau kini ditahan untuk direkodkan keterangan.... Moga Allah pertemukan mereka semula dengan secepat mungkin, insya Allah.
~~~~~
Ada pepatah mengatakan "Lying is bad, but hiding the truth is even worse".
Walahualam.
Sekian,
Muhammad Kamal Zawari @ Asamkipas

1- Kita menemui kekuatan dalaman tanpa kita sedar.

Bekas Perdana Menteri, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad

Dalam tulisan yang bertajuk 'Boeing Technology - What Goes Up Must Come Down', Dr Mahathir berkata apa yang naik pasti akan turun.

Where the World's Unsold Cars Go To Die

In the past several years, one of the topics covered in detail on these pages has been the surge in such gimmicks designed to disguise lack of demand and end customer sales, used extensively by US automotive manufacturers, better known as "channel stuffing", of which General Motors is particularly guilty and whose inventory at dealer lots just hit a new record high. But did you know that when it comes to flat or declining sales and stagnant end demand, channel stuffing is merely the beginning?
Presenting...
Where the World's Unsold Cars Go To Die (courtesy of Vincent Lewis' Unsold Cars)
Above is just a few of the thousands upon thousands of unsold cars at Sheerness, United Kingdom.  Please do see this on Google Maps....type in Sheerness, United Kingdom.  Look to the west coast, below River Thames next to River Medway. Left of A249, Brielle Way.
Timestamp: Friday, May 16th, 2014.
There are hundreds of places like this in the world today and they keep on piling up...
THE WORLDS UNSOLD CAR STOCKPILE
Houston...We have a problem!...Nobody is buying brand new cars anymore!  Well they are, but not on the scale they once were.  Millions of brand new unsold cars are just sitting redundant on runways and car parks around the world.  There, they stay, slowly deteriorating without being maintained.
Below is an image of a massive car park at Swindon, United Kingdom, with thousands upon thousands of unsold cars just sitting there with not a buyer in sight. The car manufacturers have to buy more and more land just to park their cars as they perpetually roll off the production line.
There is proof that the worlds recession is still biting and wont let go.  All around the world there are huge stockpiles of unsold cars and they are being added to every day.  They have run out of space to park all of these brand new unsold cars and are having to buy acres and acres of land to store them.
NOTE:
The images on this webpage showing all of these unsold cars are just a very small portion of those around the world.  There are literally thousands of these "car parks" rammed full of unsold cars in practically every country on the planet.  Just in case you were wondering, these images have not been Photoshopped, they are the real deal!
Its hard to believe that there are so many unsold cars in the world but its true.  The worse part is that the amount of unsold cars keeps on getting bigger every day.
It would be fair to say that it is becoming a mechanical epidemic of epic proportions.  If anybody from outer space is reading this webpage, we here on Earth have too many cars, why not come and buy a few hundred thousand of them for your own planet! (sorry but this is all I can think of)
Below is shown just a few of the 57,000 cars (and growing) that await delivery from their home in the Port of Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A. With Google Maps look South of Broening Hwy in Dundalk for the massive expanse of space where all these cars are parked up.
The car industry would never sell these cars at massive reductions in their prices to get rid of them, no they still want every buck.  If they were to price these cars for a couple of thousand they would sell them.  However, nobody would then buy any expensive cars and then they  would end up being unsold.  Its quite a pickle we have gotten ourselves into.
Below is shown an image of the Nissan test track in Sunderland United Kingdom.  Only it is no longer being used, reason...there are too many unsold cars parked up on it!  The amount of cars keeps on piling up on it until its overflowing.  Nissan then acquires more land to park up the cars, as they continue to come off the production line.
UPDATE: Currently May 16th, 2014, all of these cars at the Nissan Sunderland test track have disappeared? Now I don't believe they have all suddenly been sold.  I would guess they may have been taken away and recycled to make room for the next vast production run.
Indeed next to that test track and adjacent to the Nissan factory, they are collating again as shown on the Google Maps image below.  So where did the last lot go? This is not an employees car park by the way.
None of the images on this webpage are of ordinary car parks at shopping malls, football matches etc.  Trust me, they are just mountains and mountains of brand spanking new unsold cars. There is no real reason why you should be driving an old clunker now is there?
The car industry cannot stop making new cars because they would have to close their factories and lay off tens of thousands of employees.  This would further add to the recession.  Also the domino effect would be catastrophic as steel manufactures would not sell their steel. All the tens of thousands of places where car components are made would also be effected, indeed the world could come to a grinding halt.
Below is shown just a small area of a gigantic car park  in Spain where tens of thousands of cars just sit and sunbathe all day.
They are also piling up at the port of Valencia in Spain as seen below.  They are either waiting to be exported to...nowhere or have been imported...to go nowhere.
Tens of thousands of cars are still being made every week but hardly any of them are being sold.  Nearly every household in developed countries already has a car or even two or three cars parked up on their driveway as it is.
Below is an image of thousands upon thousands of unsold cars parked up on a runway near St Petersburg in Russia.  They are all imported from Europe, they are all then parked up and they are all then left to rot. Consequently, the airport is now unusable for its original purpose.
The cycle of buying, using, buying using has been broken, it is now just a case of "using" with no buying. Below is an image of thousands of unsold cars parked up on an disused runway at Upper Heyford, Bicester, Oxfordshire. They are seriously running out of space to store these cars.
It is a sorry state of affairs and there is no answer to it, solutions don't exist.  So the cars just keep on being manufactured and keep on adding to the millions of unsold cars already sitting redundant around the world.
Below are parked tens of thousands of cars at Royal Portbury Docks, Avonmouth, near Bristol in the United Kingdom. If you look on Google Maps and scan around the area at say 200ft you will see nothing but parked up unsold cars. They are absolutley everywhere in that area practically every open space has unsold cars parked up on it.
Below is that same area in Avonmouth, UK, but zoomed out. Every gray space that you see is filled with unsold cars.  Anyone want to hazard a guess at how many are there...
As it is, there are more cars than there are people on the planet with an estimated 10 billion roadworthy cars in the world today.
We literally cannot make enough of them. Below are seen just a few of the thousands of Citroen's parked up at Corby, Northamptonshire in England. They are being added to daily, imported from France but with nowhere else to go once they arrive.
So there they sit, brand spanking new cars, all with a couple of miles on the clock that was consummate with them being driven to their car parks.  Below is the latest May 2014 Google Maps image of unsold cars in Corby, Northamptonshire.
Manufacturing more cars than can be sold is against all logic, logistics and economics but it continues day after day, week after week, month after month, year in year out.
Below is shown a recent (April 2014) screen grab from Google Maps of the Italian port of Civitavecchia.  All those little specks are a few thousand brand new unsold Peugeots.  Just collecting dust and maybe a bit of salty sea spray!
Below, all nice and shiny but with nowhere to go.  Red and white and black and silver, purple, pink and blue, all the colors of the rainbow and be they all brand new.  Indeed all the colors of the rainbow are down there on those cars, making pretty mosaics, montages of color and still life.  Maybe that is all they will now ever be, surreal urban art of the techno production age.  Magnificent metal boxes, wasting space and saving grace, all sitting still, because its business at mill.
All around the world these cars just keep on piling up, there is no end in sight.  The economy shouts out quite loud that nobody has the money anymore to spend on a new car. The reason being that they are making their "old" cars go on a lot longer.  But we cannot stop making them, soon we will run out of space to park them.  We are nearly running out of space to drive them that's for sure!
Below, more cars mount up in the port of Valencia in Spain. They will not be exported as there is nowhere for them to go, so they just sit and rot in their colorful droves.
Gone are the days when the family would have a new car every year, they are now keeping what they have got.  It may be fair to say that some  families still get a new car every year but its the majority that now do not.
The results are in these images, hundreds of thousands if not millions of cars around the world are driven from their factories, parked up and left.
Could we say that these cars have been left to rot!  Maybe, as these cars will certainly rot if they are not bought, driven and cared for.  It does not look like they will be sold any day soon, many of them have been standing for over 12 months or even longer and this is detrimental to the car.
Below, as far as the eye can see, right into the background, cars, cars and more cars. But what's beyond the horizon?  Have a guess...Yes that's right...even more cars!  All brand new but with no homes to go to.  Do you think they will ever start giving them away, that may be the only radical solution.  Who knows, you could soon be getting a free car with every packet of cornflakes.
When a car is left standing idle, all the oil sinks to the bottom of the sump, and then corrosion begins to set in on all the internal engine parts where the oil has drained away.
Cold corrosion is when condensation builds up in the cylinders and rust forms in the bores. The engines would then start to seize and would need to be professionally freed before they could be started.  Also the tires start to lose air and the batteries start to go flat, indeed the detrimental list goes on and on.
So the longer they sit there the worse it slowly becomes for them.  What is the answer to this?  Well they need to be sold and that just isn't happening.
The epidemic is not improving, it is getting worse.  Car manufactureres are constantly coming out with new models with the latest technology in them.  Hence prospective buyers of, for example, a new Citroen Xsara Picasso want the latest model, not last years model.  Hence all the unsold Citroen Xsara Picasso cars from the previous year will now have even lesser chance of being sold.
The problems then just keep on mounting up.  In the end, the unsold cars that are say 2 years old will have no alternative but to be either crushed up, dismantled and/or their parts recycled.
Some car manufacturers moved their production over to China, General Motors and Cadillac are examples of this.  They are then shipped over in containers and unloaded at ports.  However they are now being told to put a big halt in their import into the U.S.A. as they just can't sell them in the quantities they would desire.  Consequently Chinese car parks are now filling up with brand new American cars.  Well nobody in China can afford them on their meagre pittance wages, so there they will stay until our economy improves...which it might do in a few generations.
